Getting there

Món Sant Benet is located in Sant Fruitós de Bages, close to the city of Manresa, and just 45 minutes away from Barcelona. Getting here is easy: the area is easily accessible by various means of transport.

There will be conference sponsored shuttle buses from Barcelona to Sant Benet with the following schedule on Tuesday September 1st

(*) T1-T2 shuttle:

Notice that if you arrive at Barcelona's airport Terminal 1, you need to go to Terminal 2 where the workshop buses depart. There is a 24 hour shuttle service that links the two terminals called Bustransit. Every 6 or 7 minutes a bus connects T2 (with a stop in the intermodal building) with the departures roadway (P3) and the arrivals roadway (P0) of T1. The journey lasts approximately 10 minutes.

On Friday September 4th, there will be two buses departing from Sant Benet (at the end of the conference) at about 17:00h stopping at Barcelona downtown and airport’s.

By bus
The bus companies Alsina Graells (Barcelona-Andorra service, tel. 902422242) and Autocars Julià (Barcelona-Manresa service, tel. 932615858) provide transport from Barcelona to the Manresa Alta bus station (tel.938746666). Timetables differ on weekdays and weekends/holidays. From Manresa Alta, Costa Calsina (tel. 938738454) provides the bus service to St Fruitós de Bages and Navarcles. Món Sant Benet can be reached by taxi from St Fruitós de Bages, or in 10 minutes on foot from Navarcles.
By train.
Line R5 of the Ferrrocarrils de la Generalitat provide the service from Barcelona (Plaça Espanya) to Manresa Alta train station (tel.938746666). Line C-4 of RENFE’s local network goes from Barcelona (Plaça Catalunya) to Manresa. From the RENFE station in Manresa, you’ll need to catch a Number 8 bus (Perimetral – Estacions) to the Manresa Alta bus station (timetables can be found on the website of the Town Hall of Manresa www.ajmanresa.cat under “transports”). From the Manresa Alta bus station, Costa Calsina (tel. 938738454) provides the bus service to St Fruitós de Bages and Navarcles. Món Sant Benet can be reached by taxi from St Fruitós de Bages, or in 10 minutes on foot from Navarcles.
